Hello, dear reader!

I made a difficult decision to shut down Big Tech This Week as my flagship newsletter. 

But don’t fret! I’m spinning up a new one called This is Big – telling tech’s greatest stories about your favourite entrepreneurs and companies.

Big Tech This Week will continue to thrive as the trading name of our media company. We’re expanding and doubling down on different verticals—newsletter, audio programs, Backstories with Fatu, short-form videos, live events, etc. 

We’ve updated our branding (check out our socials :)) to reflect Big Tech This Week as a media company – not a product. All verticals will have their unique branding. 

The first edition of This is Big is out this Sunday! I interviewed a very impressive woman, and I’m excited for you to read it.

It’s a great pivot. I’ve always loved people and their incredible stories, and now I can delight in telling them to you. 

I know some of you subscribed to Big Tech this week for my weekly irreverent and authoritative insights on African tech, and now I’m switching up on you. Ha! 

I won’t take it personal if you unsubscribe, but I’d love it if you stayed :)
